I am a university student from a small town in Northern Kentucky with a passion for creativity and a heart for Jesus. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Strategic Communications with a cognate in Social Media Management through Liberty University’s Online Programs. I plan to pursue my love for communications and art no matter where I go or what I do with my degree in the future after graduation in 2023.
I own a small art business titled HJPdesignsco on Etsy, where I create and sell my acrylic seascape paintings and graphic design projects. Through creation, I find inspiration to create and reflect God’s beautiful artistry. Growing up in a small town in Connecticut, I am drawn to the sea and its beautiful colors and movements. Through my art, you’ll learn that I love bright colors and the ocean, and both aspects are well represented in almost every art piece I create. As a born-again Christian, I believe God has given me a gift for creating beautiful things, and I want to be able to share that with my friends and people all over the world one day.
Along with my future career plans and small business, I have had the incredible opportunity to go on a mission trip to Madrid, Spain, volunteer at the Cincinnati Art Museum, and work at a local cafe for nearly four years. Through these accomplishments, I have learned critical thinking skills, my love for creativity, and how to share God’s light wherever I go. By God’s grace, I am pursuing His plan, and through communications and art, I believe He has me right where I need to be.
